(Kaya moving to the water in Waldoboro.)

I have owned many sailboats in my life including a 58' Palmer Johnson custom aluminum motorsailer, a Hunter 54, a Hobie14,16,18,21 and 33, a Hood 40, and most recently an F-27 trimarran for the last 8 years.

I spend a lot of time looking at boats and now I want a boat
with the following priorities:

1. Good sailing with shallow draft and good maneuverability
   characteristics.
2. Small enough to easily sail and dock and easily cleaned
   inside and out.
3. Lots of shaded deck space so we can enjoy the scenery
   comfortably.
4. Relatively flat sailing and acceptably fast motoring.
5. Dependable power with barnacle free propulsion.
6. Enough amenities to "camp out" for a week or so.
7. Ample room for a decent dinghy.

I guess these are my priorities but of course there a lot of
over riding issues such as quality and price. But since the MC30 meets these criteria, the above 7 items pretty well represent my preferences.
